There was a single mobile home on the property and a pole barn that we was working in to become a home but hurricane Michael came thru and took the single wide out so that left us with a damaged roof on the pole barn but we repaired it enough to get us moved in due to we needed a place to live! The insurance that was paid was enough to pay the mortgage off and a 1000.00 extra to help with the repairs to the roof of the pole barn which is our home now and we have tried to fix it but let’s just say me and my husband are just done with it we have a home that puts a roof over our head out of the weather to protect us from heat and cold with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and we have layed a floor down to keep the concrete from touching our feet in most places! It’s paid for and that’s amazing but we just need a new beginning the more we Try to move forward the more we get consumed with impatience and the struggle with materials sky high and we are just middle class with grand kids to raise! Literally starting over with my youngest adult child is 22 now! It’s not much and we are suppose to go into phase 2 of the Hwy 231 widing project! It’s so close to Hwy 231 that this place would probably be only an investment property for someone in the next phase of the project! I’ve raised my 2 youngest children there but now it’s not the same thing any longer due to hurricane Michael!! We just don’t have the desire to keep going now after 5 years we need a new start!!
