Built in 1945 on a quiet cul-de-sac in Inyokern, this home appraised for $109,000 two years ago when we bought it. 2 bed- 1 Bath home 858 square ft home. Since owning we have added a third unincorporated room into the garage. Right now is being used as a third bedroom but would be perfect for a man cave or guest quarters. The outside covered patio next to the barbecue was just 2 springs ago and is a nice place to enjoy the cool spring and fall mornings or a summer evening. We retiled the kitchen. The appliances from the refrigerator, stove and washer and dryer are less than 5 years old, they are going to be part of the purchase of the house. As is the big 62' smart TV in the living room which is mounted about the fireplace. The chimney has not been lined, the fireplace has never been used by us. We upgraded the swamp cooler and the heater in the last 2 years. The house is built of brick block therefore, it's cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Last year we began closing in the front porch as well as the back porch to expand the living space of the house. This is a perfect starter home for someone just starting out or for an older family looking to downsize. We love this house little though it be. It's cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. We have enjoyed making it our own. But now it's time to move on and we would like someone else to make their mark on it just as we have. The neighborhood is quiet and it' close enough to town that we can run in and go to the store real quick should the situation warrant it. But far enough away there's not a whole lot of noise.
