This property is located downtown Port St Joe, a short walk to everything-groceries, library, CVS, dining, shopping, entertainment and walking/biking paths. It is only a short drive or golf cart ride, to the most beautiful beaches-Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, Mexico Beach, Port St Joe Beach. The new marina is state of the art and is a power boater's paradise and is only about 6 blocks from the property! The growth and new construction in this beautiful little town is unbelievable! This property is zoned residential and commercial and survived Hurricane Michael with NO water intrusion and nor damage. We have our own little downtown island. We found PSJ when looking for a marina for our sailboat. We immediately fell in love with the marina, the little town with only 2 traffic lights, the fabulous restaurants, stores, and the people! We intended to make this our home, have a sailboat charter business, and possible another business (we had some great ideas!). But like so many others, Hurricane Michael changed our plans. The marina was destroyed, and we waited 4.5 years for it to be rebuilt and were so excited about it!! Only to find out that sailboats were not allowed (they DO ALLOW sailboat transients), but no monthly or yearly dock rentals. After much consideration we have decided to sell our little piece of paradise. It has been so fun working on this place, exploring the area and surrounding areas-we have been here since 2009 and it has just been a great experience! We LOVE PSJ, but we also love the sailboat life, the marina life and it just isn't here anymore. But for power boaters it is GREAT!! and this would be the perfect place to be! Our property is definitely unique! It will take a special person to appreciate the uniqueness and character of our downtown Island! Feel free to call with any additional questions!
