Drive in to your own private, tropical oasis in a resort setting, where you will enjoy the atmosphere of the gorgeous Myakka River! This jungle-inspired home is located right on the river, across from the wilderness preserve of a tremendous state park. Just a few miles down the road from where they filmed one of the original Tarzan shows, you cam feel the scenic environment in your own backyard! Light a fire in the fire pit, have coffee on the morning deck, relax in the screen house, or just gaze up at the foliage from any of the many little areas on the property curated for mindfulness and enjoying the natural wonder of the pine and Spanish moss covered oak trees all around. Enter the house into the Jungle Lounge - where there is plenty of space to play, read, do yoga, or even practice the guitar! There is welcome/staging area by the door, where you can leave your shoes (and your worries), and organize your belongings and supplies for all of your Florida adventures. There is also a dining table here which can accommodate up to 5 guests for meals, games, or working from home surrounded by huge windows and the beautiful forest. Straight past the wooden barn door is the serene first bedroom, which has a comfortable queen sized bed, incredible windows and views of the trees, and blackout curtains for a great night sleep. This room is where the washer and dryer are located, to keep your tidying easy, convenient, and accessible! There is also a resort laundry facility a block and a half to the right, for more serious laundry undertakings. Next, enter the main living space, which is furnished with a comfortable couch and two cool chairs with a smart tv, a game cupboard, and a beautiful view of the plants and trees all around. Enjoy a meal at the breakfast bar, or have a seat at the sleek tulip table, while food can be prepared in the adjacent chef’s kitchen, stocked with a gas stove, appliances, and ceramic pans for your cooking needs. Walk down the hall (where you’ll find plenty of storage) and see the bathroom to your left, with a bath and shower, more storage, nice lighting and a mirror. Finally, come to rest in the second bedroom, with a comfortable queen size bed, a moderately sized closet, and several windows inviting in the green of the plants all around the property. The house is located on a quiet, dead end street, in a particularly beautiful part of the resort, with the clubhouse and pool just one block to the left. Enjoy the many shared amenities, including shared pool and hot tub, fitness center, fishing pier, tennis and pickle ball courts, billiards, grill pavilion, playground, kids water park, and more! We have turned this place into our jungle dream house... we loved it here and we hope you will too!
